Wokescold
A wokescold is someone who chastises others for not being woke enough. Wokescolds are behind the phenomenon known as call-out culture. Wokescolds are more interested in demonstrating to others that they’re morally superior than they are in actually meaningfully advancing progressive politics. They often do this to gain social capital within their peer groups. This tends to turn into a toxic cannibalistic process within progressive spaces in which they will oust each other in competition to be the wokest.
