Withdrawl 🧠
Withdrawal refers to the unpleasant experiences that occur after the acute cessation of a substance or activity which the user has built a tolerance to. They tend to cluster as symptoms of physiological withdrawal with effects on the body, such as sweating, racing heart, palpitations, muscle tension, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, tremor, and GI complaints such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Or symptoms can also cluster as mental withdrawal, with effects such as anxiety, restlessness, irritability, insomnia, headaches, poor concentration, depression, and social isolation.
